The Solvents Industry Association Annual Spring Dinner was held on 15th March at the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in Notting Hill, London, and proved to be another successful event for the Association.
Over 60 SIA members and distinguished guests from 27 companies attended the event at this Top Ten London attraction, which included dinner and the opportunity to view over 12,000 original items from the Museum’s unique Robert Opie Collection, a number of which appropriately reflected the changes in the use of chemical solvents in day-to-day products over recent decades.
A record £1,000 was raised on the night from the traditional SIA raffle in aid of the Firefighters Charity, with Grenfell Tower nearby serving as a poignant reminder of the outstanding work of the service and of those who lost their lives in June 2017.

A big thank you to all those who supported the event.
The next key event in the SIA diary is the Annual General Meeting which will be held on Thursday 11th October at Mottram Hall in Cheshire.
