The Solvents Industry Association is pleased to announce that registrations are open for the SIA Spring Dinner, being held at the Army Museum, London on March 12th. Note that there will be a joint SIA Technical Committee and Board Meeting held earlier that day at Make UK in London.
Those of you who have previously attended the SIA Spring Dinner know that it traditionally provides a good chance to network with other SIA members new and old (I refer purely to the length of membership!). This venue also provides some thought-provoking and interactive displays, which attendees will have a chance to view after the meal. March has to be the most appropriate month to visit an Army Museum, right?
Due to considerations with regard to competition law, members who wish to invite guests to the event are discouraged from inviting customers. However, we would of course be delighted to welcome any other industry-related guests. Please feel free to contact us if there are any doubts in this area.
This really is a rare opportunity and ticket numbers are strictly limited due to the size of the dining area – which is underneath a helicopter – so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. There is also early [whirly]bird pricing, with the SIA member price held again at £159 + VAT. It is not often you get to eat a nice dinner while sat under a helicopter. Not without the downdraft cooling your soup*!
*note other dishes may be served as well as or instead of soup, and we can cater for your dietary requirements. Please state these on the form.
