The Solvents Industry Association would like to welcome Pensteel as a new Associate Member. Pensteel is a supplier of stainless steel (and other) packaging based in Essex.
Matthew Edwards, Director of Pensteel said “Joining the SIA is a natural strengthening of our commitment to the Solvents Industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge in the use of stainless-steel IBCs, including the re-certification of containers when necessary to comply with the latest UN regulations. Having worked with a large number of SIA members, joining this association will strengthen the bond between our companies and we hope this will result in a better understanding of the correct maintenance of stainless-steel IBCs from a user perspective, such as spotting a potential failure early on before it turns into a serious issue.
Bill Atkinson, SIA Chief Executive welcomed Pensteel to SIA membership, “Pensteel are a great addition to the SIA membership. The SIA continues to promote the use of stainless steel packaging as best practice for the containment and transport of flammable solvents.
