Product Stewardship is the responsibility for health, safety and environmental aspects of a product or product range, throughout its lifespan. As a cornerstone of our activities, the Solvents Industry Association actively promotes product stewardship of solvents, to ensure that they are used safely and responsibly, and to secure their widespread use for many years to come.

In his position with Shell, he is responsible for all areas of Product Stewardship, Regulatory Compliance, HSSE and advising on Risk Assessment. He also represents the Solvents Industry Association as Chair of the Technical Committee and is the Chair of the European Solvents Industry Group.

A familiar face to many people in the solvents and petrochemicals industry, Rob has a PhD in Chemistry and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
