SIA Members Raise £1,110 for British Heart Foundation

The recent 50th Anniversary Solvents Industry Association Spring Dinner raffle raised a staggering £1,110 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Meeting with SIA Chief Executive, Andrew Norman, at the Wilmslow branch of the BHF, Leah Goodhind, Fundraising Manager – Cheshire & Greater Manchester East said, ‘A huge thank you to Andrew and everyone at SIA for supporting the British Heart Foundation and for raising a wonderful £1,110. For more than 60 years, the public’s generosity has funded BHF research that has turned ideas that once seemed like ‘science fiction’ into treatments and cures that save lives every day. But millions of people are still waiting for the next breakthrough. It is only with donations from amazing supporters like SIA that we can keep our research going and discover the treatments and cures of the future’.

Andrew Norman said, ‘As ever, SIA Members and guests present at London’s impressive Armourers’ Hall in March gave very generously to a cause which is close to the hearts of many of those present. Many thanks also to HG& Co and Alcohols Limited for their kind donation of raffle prizes’.
